12/09/2016 - The warm colored brick home of the Gondrie family in Waterrijk Woerden has also been finished. The Gondrie couple’s children have left their parental home already. Therefore FARO designed the home as a ground level loft, with guest rooms for the children and grandchildren, and a small upper level with large roof terrace and roof garden. The length of the warm red-orange colored bricks is emphasized by the masonry technique. The property boundary has been integrated in the façade, creating a unified whole.

The dwellings are part of the Berlagekavels, special building plots on corners within the urban plan by West8. The large window on the corner accentuates the stairs and at the same time emphasize on the special status of the corner home within the urban plan.
