Contracted by IABR and the Municipality of Texel, Faro worked together with La4sale for a year on the Planet Texel project workshop. The result was exhibited throughout summer 2014 as part of the Urban By Nature exhibition in Rotterdam Kunsthal.

An integral research of the connection between green, types of landscape and types of housing in the Netherlands
FARO, H+N+S and Palmboom and van den Bout are performed an integral research focusing on the integration of green, types of landscapes and residential typologies in the Netherlands.
SCENARIOS FOR EXISTING HOUSING ASSOCIATION HOMES, TASKFORCE CO2
Taskforce CO2 is a foundation established by FARO Research, VGG Middelkoop, bureau Nieman and Amory + Jurriens, following an initiative of Evelyn van der Ploeg. We are working together on interdisciplinary research into CO2 reduction and possibilities of transforming the existing social rental housing stock.
IF WE SHARE EVERYTHING, HOW MUCH WILL YOU GET?
In response to an increasingly complex society with systems in which the human dimension is lost, this exhibition is an attempt to reintroduce the human dimension to these huge numbers and systems. Initiators hope that this initiative can help improve understanding of the bigger picture.
IS THERE A TASTE GAP BETWEEN LAYMAN AND ARCHITECT?
FARO has developed the architecture taste test. The test was developed to determine whether it is really true that laymen and architects have completely different style preferences. Or put simply, do laymen prefer Retro while architects prefer contemporary architecture? Perhaps there are also interesting taste similarities that are relevant?
NEW LIVING ENVIRONMENTS TESTING IN POLDER, HAARLEMMERMEER
FARO researches how to fill in the residential areas that are being created in the new plan Westflank in the Haarlemmermeer. Small scale and diversity are the key phrases of this urban plan, following the existing structure of small towns in this polder. The plan provides an exceptional combination of living, green, recreation and water.
