The Enexis house is a show case for modern life with an energy network. A house that harvests energy from sustainable sources and gives energy back to the grid. The house is designed to be sustainable with regards to energy and in choice of materials, but also in educating the occupants and their interaction with their immediate surroundings.

The lay out of the house provides an interesting routing that can show off the innovative character. But it is foremost a comfortable living space with interesting details. The house is all-electric and we have chosen a 12,5m³ vacuum solar collector and an electric heat exchanger. This will warm and cool the house. To generate enough electricity from the sum, 100PV cells should be placed on the roof. This capacity is completely used and will provide enough capacity to give back to the grid and to charge an electric car. The Enexis house is located in the woods of Vught.
