On a green location in Hoogvliet, FARO designed a plan with spacious apartments and a robust border with large townhouses on the park. Behind this border, a relaxed living environment is created with attached and semi-detached homes.

The space around the homes remains green as cars are led around the semi-detached homes and via little alleys to parking spaces. Everybody can park close to home, and green space and care free paths can remain.

The homes are orient their verandas and large windows towards the green in the neighborhood. Based on the traditional subdivision, the plan is designed in strips with all gardens oriented towards the sun. A nice hedge with a gate separates the spaces, optimizing privacy and the green appearance of the neighborhood. Existing trees were spared, giving the streets a complete look and feel.

Architecturally, all blocks are based on the same principles. The orange-brown colored brick, white horizontal lines and verandas are a repeating theme. These colors will be used all around the Oedevlietsepark, so the whole plan will be more or less uniform.
